The US Department of Justice has accused Peter Williams, former general manager of L3Harris’s cybersecurity division Trenchant, of stealing eight trade secrets and selling them to a Russian buyer for $1.3 million. Williams systematically transferred sensitive hacking and surveillance tools used by Western intelligence, threatening national security. The alleged espionage spanned over three years, with prosecutors seeking forfeiture of Williams’s assets.
