US assembles 'Squad' of allies to counter China

Defence leaders from the United States, Australia, Japan, and the Philippines met in Hawaii on Thursday (local time) for their second joint meeting, forming yet another regional group called the "Squad" by Pentagon officials and promising a stronger collaboration among the four countries.
