UN hopes to raise over $600 million to avert humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan

The United Nations which has warned of a humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan following the Taliban takeover is convening an aid conference in Geneva on Monday in an effort to raise more than $600 million for the Afghans.
