Israel and Lebanon have shortlisted Britain, Italy, Switzerland, and Indonesia as potential contributors to a new international mechanism aimed at verifying Hezbollah's disarmament in southern Lebanon. The list emerged from US-mediated talks in Rome, with these countries possibly providing troops to observe or take part in weapons inspections.
