President Trump announced a new U.S. push to help broker peace in Sudan’s devastating civil war after a direct request from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Speaking at the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum in Washington, Trump said the U.S. will work with Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and others to secure a humanitarian truce amid famine, mass displacement and accusations of genocide.
