Trump rejects Ukraine's NATO bid as Zelensky heads to US for talks

US President Donald Trump has declared that Ukraine can "forget about joining NATO," refusing to offer security guarantees. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to visit the White House on Friday, pushing for security assurances. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will also meet with Trump ahead of Zelensky’s visit. Additionally, Trump claims Russian President Vladimir Putin will have to make concessions.
