Toshakhana auction: Collection of nearly 300 diplomatic gifts put up for an e-auction

For the first time since 1983, India has opened its Toshakhana collection for a major public auction, giving residents a chance to bid on nearly 300 diplomatic gifts received by government dignitaries. The collection includes luxury ceremonial items, artworks, souvenirs, and unique gifts presented by foreign leaders and delegations. Organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, the e-auction offers a rare glimpse into India's diplomatic history while allowing the public to own a piece of it.
