Sudan Crisis: Fighting rages even as ceasefire extended

The rival paramilitary and the Sudanese army both said that they would prolong the humanitarian ceasefire for an additional 72 hours. The decision was made in response to international pressure to permit the safe passage of assistance and civilians, but the tenuous cease-fire has not yet ended the fighting.
