Spain approves plan to cut workweek to 37.5 hours

Spain’s minority leftist government has approved a plan to reduce the standard workweek from 40 to 37.5 hours without any loss of pay. The reform, part of a 2023 coalition deal between the socialists and the far-left Sumar party, aims to be fully implemented by the end of 2025.
