South Africa plans to roll out TB vaccine

South Africa's Department of Health says a new tuberculosis (TB) vaccine could help eliminate TB as a public health threat by 2030. The M72/AS01E vaccine is currently in Phase 3 trials across five countries and, if approved, would become the first new TB vaccine introduced in more than 100 years.
