Residents Advised To Avoid Low-lying Areas In Assam & Meghalaya
While North India is suffering from heat the Northeast is battling heavy rain, floods and landslides. A rain-triggered landslide has killed at least six people in the state of Assam while in Sikkim dozens of tourists have been rescued following a landslide.
