The island nation of Papua New Guinea in the south-western Pacific has announced its verdict. The nation denies the motherland to be used for any war-related offensive military operations. The United States and Papua New Guinea have signed a new bilateral defence cooperation agreement. The new defence cooperation is expected to expand U.S. access to military & other facilities in PNG.
