The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals need a global rescue plan. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned at the opening of the UNGA in New York right. On the first day of the UNGA event on Monday world leaders adopted a landmark political declaration to accelerate action on implementing the 17 sustainable development goals that have regressed below the 2015 Baseline when they were first announced the high.
