On July 11, London got a vivid taste of a part of India many people overlook. The Northeast Indian diaspora came together for "United Colours of North East India," a volunteer-led celebration spanning all eight northeastern states — Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
