Mergers & acquisitions fall to its lowest level in ten years | World Business Watch

Mergers and acquisitions fell to its lowest level in ten years this year. The reason: High interest rates which made it difficult to raise money, and the economic slowdown, which weighed on companies' dealmaking confidence. Total mergers and acquisitions volumes fell 18% to about 3 trillion dollars. That's the lowest since 2013, when deal volumes were at 2.8 trillion dollars.
