Mathura authorities intercept fake paneer at Rajasthan border
Authorities in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura have destroyed 500 kg of contaminated paneer worth Rs 15,000 and seized chemicals and raw materials allegedly used to manufacture adulterated dairy products. The crackdown comes amid growing action against analogue paneer across India, with Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh introducing restrictions on dairy substitutes.
