A dashcam in Kumamoto captured a stunning fireball streaking across Japan’s night sky on August 19. Witnesses across Kyushu and Shikoku shared similar footage, while experts confirmed it was a fireball; an exceptionally bright shooting star caused by asteroid fragments burning in the atmosphere.
