Maoists Offer Temporary Suspension of Armed Op, Urge Centre for Month-long Truce
The Communist Party of India (Maoist) has issued a statement announcing a temporary suspension of armed operations and proposing a one-month ceasefire to the Centre to facilitate peace talks, after being cornered following the fall of their bastion Abujhmad and the elimination of their top brass in recent attacks.
