Maharashtra: New FDA chief Tukaram Mundhe conducts mass inspections
Led by FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe, the Maharashtra FDA has conducted more than 1,100 surprise inspections and raids across the state. The crackdown targeted unhygienic food practices, adulterated milk, fake paneer and unlicensed kitchens at hotels, restaurants and institutional canteens.
