Kenya says it will register undocumented Burundians and other East Africans living in the country, easing fears sparked by President William Ruto’s directive targeting foreigners in small-scale businesses. Hundreds of Burundians rushed to process travel documents as Kenyan authorities moved to regularise the status of those without proper papers.
