Jammu & Kashmir: Article 35A repealed from Constitution

Article 370 of the Indian constitution is an article that gives autonomous status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Article 35A of the Constitution of India. Article 35A of the Indian Constitution was an article that empowered the Jammu and Kashmir state's legislature to define "permanent residents" of the state and provide special rights and privileges to those permanent residents. After the proposal of Home Minister Amit Shah to revoke Article 35A & 370, Article 35A has been abrogated.
