The second phase of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly election began at 7 a.m. and concluded peacefully at 6 p.m. J&K Chief Electoral Officer P.K. Pole, in a press conference in Srinagar, announced a voter turnout of 56%. He noted that this figure was tentative, as polling was still ongoing in areas like Hazratbal and Reasi.
