Israel: Latest poll indicates tie between pro & anti-Netanyahu blocs
A new Israeli television poll shows Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political bloc catching up with its Zionist opponents ahead of the October 27 elections. Channel 13 projects 53 seats for each bloc, leaving both eight seats short of the 61 needed for a Knesset majority. With 14 seats held by mainly Arab parties, the next Israeli government could hinge on who wins their support.
