Israel: Knesset expected to vote on proposed law today

Thousands of protestors are expected to take to the streets of Tel Aviv as an initial report says the Knesset will hold a vote on one of the most controversial bills of the proposed judicial overhaul. But why does this bill matter? Well, this bill proposes to strip the Supreme Court of the power to strike down those government decisions which it deems unsustainable in law.
