Medical interns of the MBBS 2021 batch at SKIMS Medical College, Bemina, have escalated their agitation into a full hunger strike, demanding their monthly stipend be raised from ₹12,300 — unchanged since 2019 — to ₹30,000. The protest, now in its second week across J&K's medical colleges, comes after repeated verbal assurances from the administration failed to translate into a formal written order
