Domestic airfares in India surged by 43 percent last year from 2019 levels, marking a notable spike in air ticket prices. That is according to a study by Airports Council International (ACI). But what is fast becoming a point of contention is airline passengers being burdened with large amounts of additional fees tallied to advertised flight costs.
