India, China and Russia abstain on first UNSC resolution on Myanmar in 74 years

India, along with China and Russia, abstained in voting on a rare resolution adopted by the United Nations Security Council that demanded an immediate end to violence in Myanmar and urged the military junta to release ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi and all other political prisoners.
