Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made a significant revelation. She stated that a foreign power offered her an easy path to re-election in the January 7 polls on the condition that she allowed the said foreign country to construct an airbase within Bangladeshi territory. Although she did not name the foreign power that made the offer, the Bangladeshi prime minister described the individual as a "white man."
