Last weekend, 36 flights were cancelled and 201 were delayed at a Japanese airport after a pair of scissors went missing in a store near the boarding gates. Huge bottlenecks and queues formed as passengers were forced to retake security checks. It left hundreds of travelers temporarily stranded.
