Germany unveils $65 bn inflation relief plan as inflation rises to 7.9%

To fight the inflation in Germany, the government has announced a relief plan to lower the pressure on households. The development comes as the Russian gas supplies are dwindling and energy bills are soaring. The relief plan will also include a one-off payment of 300 euros to millions of pensioners to help them cover the rising energy bills.
