Germans sweltered in record-breaking temperatures that pushed the mercury towards all-time highs on Sunday. As the temperatures soar also in the capital of Germany, Berliners flocked to the public pools and the river Spree in order to cool down or refresh themselves by eating ice cream and drinking lots of water.
