EU probes social media giant X for content violations

The European union is turning its focus onto social media giant X as it launches an investigation under the digital services act. The probe, triggered partly by posts following Hamas' attacks on Israel, marks the first major examination under the new regulations. With the digital services act in force, very large online platforms like x are now under scrutiny for potential breaches.
