EU: European Union to scrap border checks on British goods
The European Union is offering to reduce custom checks and paperwork on British products intended for Northern Ireland. The Brexit trade arrangement for Northern Ireland created a de-facto trade border within the United Kingdom, it required new checkpoints at ports to stop the flow of certain goods into the EU.
