Vultures in Southeast Asia including India face a steep decline in their population prompting researchers across the Indian subcontinent to trace back to the source of the problem. A new study has found that vultures are dying due to fatal poisoning from feeding on livestock carcasses and a drug to blame. Scientists have found that Diclofenac is behind the deaths and rapid deterioration of India's vulture population.
