Delhi-NCR is once again under a thick, toxic haze as air quality plunges into the severe danger zone. Authorities have invoked stage iii of the pollution emergency plan, sending public health warnings across the region. Delhi woke up today choking on smog, with the air quality index topping 425 in many parts, far beyond safe limits.
