Consumer confidence at its highest since July 2021

Just ahead of a possible interest rate hike by the US fed, the world's largest economy has seen a two-year-high in consumer confidence. As per the conference board, a business research group, consumer confidence index rose to 117 in July from 110.1 in June. This was the highest since July 2021.
