California: All new cars to be electric or plug-in hybrid by 2035

Another US state that has now finalized plans to end sales of gasoline-powered cars is California. The Air Resources board has voted to adopt sweeping regulations to require all new cars sold to be electric or plug-in hybrid by 2035.
