Chinese automaker BYD has overtaken tesla in quarterly revenue for the first time, driven by surging global demand for hybrid vehicles. BYD’s third-quarter revenue reached $28.2 billion, compared to tesla’s $25.18 billion. This 24% revenue increase for BYD highlights the company’s strong market position as consumers opt for hybrid vehicles over pure electric models, driven by concerns about EV battery life and range.
