Boots to close 200 UK pharmacies over the next year as online sales grows
Boots has revealed plans to close 300 locations nationwide in an effort to be more "efficient." As part of efforts to "evolve" the shop estate, the high street pharmacist, which is owned by the US company Walgreens Boots Alliance, announced it will close 300 physical and mortar locations in the coming year.
