ASI releases report on Gyanvapi mosque, finds sculptures of Hindu deity

The archaeological survey of India reveals it found around 55 stone sculptures of Hindu deities’ n the Gyanvapi mosque complex located in state of Uttar Pradesh. The report has concluded that a temple appears to have been destroyed in the 17th century during the reign of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
