Former Corsican separatist leader Alain Orsoni has been shot dead while attending his mother’s funeral on the French island of Corsica. The 71 year old was killed by a single long range shot in the village of Vero, triggering a major investigation by organised crime prosecutors as police hunt for the gunman behind the brazen killing.
