<p>Three school boys from the US state of North Dakota made a significant discovery which left them “completely speechless”. The two boys and their cousin who have been described as “fossil hunters” stumbled upon a Tyrannosaurus rex bone which is said to be at least 67 million years old during a hike.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Discovery of ‘Teen Rex’</strong></h2>

<p>In July 2022, Liam and Jessie Fisher, then seven and 10, and their cousin Kaiden Madsen, now nine along with their father Sam were hiking in the North Dakota badlands and found the large leg bone.&nbsp;</p>

<p>They sent an image of the fossil&nbsp;to Dr Tyler Lyson, a family friend who is the associate curator of vertebrate palaeontology at the Denver Museum of Nature &amp; Science and they began the excavation.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As it turns out, the bone belonged to an adolescent T-rex, whose fossils are rare, and the boys have since dubbed it a “Teen rex.”</p>

<p>“By going outside and embracing their passions and the thrill of discovery, these boys have made an incredible dinosaur discovery that advances science and deepens our understanding of the natural world,” said the palaeontologist&nbsp;</p>

<p>During the hike, Liam and his father noticed a large leg bone sticking out of the ground and called Jessin and Kaiden to come and see it, said the now nine-year-old, as quoted by Reuters.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a shocking incident, a 74-year-old woman was found breathing and alive in a local funeral home after being declared dead in Lincoln,&nbsp;Nebraska on Monday (June 3).</p>

<p>The firefighting and rescue teams of the town reached the Butherus-Maser &amp; Love funeral home at 11.43 am (local time) after a caller informed them that they were performing CPR on a woman earlier believed to be the corpse of Constance Glantz.</p>

<h2><strong>Here's how this bizarre incident unfolded</strong></h2>

<p>Two hours prior, staff at the nursing home had pronounced Glantz dead and said that she had passed away after entering hospice, as per Lancaster County’s chief deputy sheriff Ben Houchin.</p>

<p>While making funeral preparations for Glantz, a staff member noticed she was alive and called 911.</p>

<p>She was later admitted back to the hospital and her family was also informed. The woman remained alive for several hours but&nbsp;eventually died later in the day, said the Lancaster County Sheriff’s office.</p>

<p>The officials are now investigating the incident, however, Houchin said that no criminal intent was found by the investigators.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a press conference, Houchin said, "This is a very unusual case. Been doing this 31 years, and nothing like this has ever gotten to this point before."</p>

<p>He further explained that Glantz's death had been anticipated.</p>

<p>"A physician had seen her in the last seven days, and the physician was willing to sign the death certificate, and... there was nothing suspicious at the time of the death," he added.</p>

<p>Houchin said that she was pronounced dead for a second time at around 16:00 local time on Tuesday (June 4) and a post-mortem examination results will be available after 12 weeks.</p>

<p>“At this point, we have not been able to find any criminal intent by the nursing home, but the investigation is ongoing,” said Houchin.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“I’m sure the nursing home and everybody else is going to be taking a look into what has happened, and I’m sure they’ll look and see if new protocols need to be made and if they were all followed. The funeral home did absolutely nothing wrong. They are the ones who found that she was still alive," he added.</p>

<p>One of the world's most active volcanoes Kilauea started erupting in a remote area early on Monday (June 3), said the US Geological Survey’s Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. The volcano had last erupted a half-century ago.</p>

<p>The eruption is nearly 1.6 km south of the Kilauea caldera in a remote area inside the Hawaii&nbsp;Volcanoes&nbsp;National Park that had last erupted in December 1974.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Six hours after the eruption, the observatory said that it did not pose much threat and minor or no ash emission was expected. After a few hours, it was reported that the eruption had "paused".</p>

Congressman's young son lightens mood in the House with funny antics

<p>A 25-year-old Kerala man was arrested by Mumbai police on Saturday (June 1) as he disrupted an Air India Express flight from Kozhikode to Bahrain by assaulting the cabin crew and trying to open the emergency door midair.</p>

<p>As per reports, Abdul Musavir Nadukandee woke up on the flight and immediately went to the back of the plane as the plane took off. He then assaulted the cabin crew and tried to open the emergency door. When the cabin crew subdued him, he allegedly hurled abuses at the staff and threatened fellow passengers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As the incident unfolded, the pilot of the aircraft diverted the flight to Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and alerted the security officials on the ground.</p>

Kerala man detained after he assaults flight crew, tries to open door midair

<p><em>Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2</em> actress Uorfi Javed recently shared in an Instagram post that while she has been getting fillers and botox since the age of 18, her swollen face isn't due to cosmetic procedures. Instead, she is suffering from severe allergies that cause her lips, eyelids and&nbsp;cheeks to swell.</p>

<p>Sharing how her allergies are troubling her, Uorfi said, "I’ve been getting so many remarks with my face that I’ve gone overboard with my fillers! I have major major allergies, my face is swollen most of the time. I wake up like this every second day, and my face is always swollen. I’m always in extreme discomfort. Fillers nahi hai guys, allergies hai."</p>

<p>She added, “Immunotherapy chalu hai but if you next see me with swollen face. Just know I’m going through one of those bad allergy days, I’ve not gotten anything done except of course my usual fillers and Botox which I’ve been getting since I was 18. If you see my face swollen don’t advise me not to get more fillers just sympathise and move on.”</p>

<p>“So today I found a goldfish just on the grass in my back garden. It was alive, I think, and have absolutely no idea where it came from. There’s no ponds anywhere near. So I took it inside….,” the 33-year-old said in one of the posts sharing an image of the goldfish.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Upon discovering the fish, Beska scrambled to put the “flapping” fish in an old freezer drawer full of water. “It was alive! Although not very happy in an old freezer drawer,” he said in a subsequent post.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a very rare incident, a thief who entered&nbsp;a doctor's residence with the intention of robbery in Lucknow, went into deep slumber because of extreme intoxication.</p>

<p>The next morning, when the thief woke up from his sleep, he was shocked to discover that he was surrounded by policemen.</p>

<p>The case was reported in Sector 20 of Indira Nagar. It falls in the jurisdiction of the Ghazipur police station.</p>

<p>According to&nbsp;media reports, the house in which the theft occurred belonged to Sunil Pandey, who is a residence of Indira Nagar Sector 20 of Lucknow.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The neighbours felt something was wrong in Pandey's home after they saw the door ajar in the morning hours. When they peeped inside the house, they&nbsp;saw that the house was ransacked and the items were strewn around.</p>

<p>They called the Ghazipur police and the cops then found the thief sleeping. He was later identified as Kapil. The police arrested him and he was booked under IPC Section 379 A for theft.</p>

<p>Ghazipur Station House Officer (SHO) Vikas Rai said that they are carrying out the legal proceedings. As per the official, the intruder also tampered with the water pump before trying to remove the house battery, however, moments later he fell asleep.</p>

<p>"The cupboards were broken into. Everything, including cash, was taken. The thief even attempted to steal the washbasin, gas cylinder, and water pump," the official said, while speaking to The Times Of India.</p>

<p>"It appeared he collapsed from intoxication while attempting to remove the battery and fell asleep," he added.</p>

<p>“The last thing I remember was her mouth open wide and everything went black. I went limp and let it constrict. She wrapped around me and I felt my suit cracking and my arms ripping out of their sockets," he said.</p>

<p>“I came inches away, moments away from having my rib cage explode. It was really all about showing people the power of these snakes with the mission of protecting their habitats,” Rosolie added.</p>

The treasure from the Middle Ages was described as “one of the greatest finds of the last decade” by the Institute of Archaeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences (ARUP).</p>

<h2><strong>About the discovery</strong></h2>

<p>The silver coins are said to have been minted some time between 1085 and 1107. According to a statement by the ARUP, it is the largest early medieval coin depot found in the Kutnohorsk region.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The discovery&nbsp;“can be compared to winning a million in the jackpot,” said Filip Velimsky, an archaeologist from the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Prague.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He also explained how the silver coins represent “a huge amount,” and was “unimaginable for an ordinary person…(and) it can be compared to winning a million in the jackpot”.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>‘Internal political instability’</strong></h2>

<p>Experts also believe that the coins were hidden during a time of “internal political instability” in the Czech lands due to disputes in the country between the members of the Premysl dynasty about the princely throne of Prague.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Researchers working on the project also believe that these coins may have been meant for soldiers’ wages or some kind of war loot.</p>

<p>The coins, according to the experts, are now being processed which includes x-ray imaging and spectral analysis of the coins to determine what material these coins are made from.&nbsp;</p>

<p>They will hopefully be displayed to the public by the summer of 2025, said the researchers.&nbsp;</p>
