The man, a father of two, went to doctors for his hernia treatment when doctors found something strange inside his body. The man named Rajgir Mistri, 46, was in severe pain and decided to go for a free hernia check-up camp where he consulted Dr Narendra Dev, a professor at BRD Medical College, as per an India Today report. During a surgery for Mistri’s hernia discovered a developed flesh inside his body, which was disrupting his internal organs. Also Read | Japan witnessing phenomenon of 'evaporated' people. What is it? Upon detailed analysis, Dr Dev later scheduled Mistri for surgery to treat him. However, during the operation, it was discovered that the mass that caused the hernia was, in fact, an underdeveloped uterus. The doctors also found an ovary adjacent to it. The doctor told the media outlet that Mistri doesn’t have any female-like features and the presence of female genitalia is a birth deformity in his body. The patient is healthy after the operation and recovering well. In a similar case, last month, a 16-inch bottle gourd was discovered inside a 60-year-old farmer’s rectum in Madhya Pradesh. As per various reports, the gourd was located in the back after an X-ray, and the doctors said that the foreign object caused severe internal injuries. Subsequently, he came to the district hospital,” Dr Jatav told India Today. “Upon examination, it was found that he had inserted a gourd into his rectum.
The preliminary investigation report into the derailment of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express has revealed negligence by the railway engineering section as the possible cause of the accident.

The trail derailed in the Gonda district of the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday (Jul 18), leaving four dead and several injured.

The report prepared by a six-member team of senior railway officials has claimed that workers knew about the fault in the track but no action was taken by the zipper hierarchy.

A trackman, performing the duties of a keyman had warned a junior engineer about a defect in the track between Motiganj and Jhilahi approximately an hour (1:30 PM IST) before the accident. The section officer failed to show caution and the Dibrugarh Express crossed the section at high speed when it should have been cautioned.

“When IMR (immediate removal defect) was detected (at 1.30 pm), the site should have been protected till the caution order was served but it was not done due to which the train derailed. The engineering department is responsible for it,” the joint probe report, written in Hindi said.

In a strange case from Uttar Pradesh, a 24-year-old man was bitten by deadly snakes six times within one and a half months of time period. The man hailing from Soura village of Fatehpur district has been attacked multiple times by snakes in his area, and every time he was rushed to the hospital and treated.

The first incident happened on June 2 when Vikas Dubey, a village dweller was bitten after taking a nap. The snake was right behind his bed. He was rushed to a nearby clinic and got treated.

Between the first incident on June 2 and July 6, Dubey was bitten six times by snakes.

After the fourth snakebite, he was advised to leave his house and stay elsewhere, fearing of more such incidents. Dubey moved to his aunt’s house in Radhanagar, but his fate followed him there as well, and he was bitten again for the fifth time at his aunt’s house.

The BJP-led NDA is heading towards a majority in the Lok Sabha polls but with reduced strength from its 2019 tally as the opposition INDIA alliance put up a strong performance. Uttar Pradesh elections 2024: The big 'UP' set for Bharatiya Janata Party | The resurgence of SP

In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, the results of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 took a twisted turn as in the battle between NDA and INDIA alliance, Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party emerged as the true winner.

After the debacle in the 2017 polls, Yadav gave his best-ever performance in this Lok Sabha elections as his party clinched victory in 37 of the 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh and became the single-largest party in the most populous state of the country.

The results were unexpected as the exit polls had also predicted big gains for the BJP in this state, which was reduced to 33 seats from 62 in 2019. The Samajwadi Party emerged as the third largest party after the BJP and Congress.

Yadav targets PM Modi for 'mujra' remark

Earlier today, the Samajwadi Party chief took a jibe at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his 'mujra' remark stating that the PM's speech was faltering because of his waning confidence.

"When the self-confidence is faltering, the speech also falters. There is a decrease in his confidence. And as a result, he is using such language," Yadav told reporters.

This came after PM Modi launched a scathing attack on the Opposition INDIA bloc on Saturday (May 25) stating that he will not let them snatch away the reservation benefits constitutionally accorded to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities (OBCs), even if they perform "mujra" (dance) before their purported vote bank.

"I am giving the guarantee to Bihar, SC/ST/OBC communities, till Modi is alive, I will not let them snatch away their rights. For Modi, the Constitution is supreme, for Modi, Babasaheb Ambedkar's sentiments are supreme... if the INDIA bloc wants to accept the servitude of their vote bank, they are free to do so...if they want to perform mujra (dance), they are free to do... I will still stand with the SC/ST/OBC reservation staunchly," PM Modi said while addressing an election rally in Bihar's Pataliputra.
