On Monday (October 4), the Pant-led DC franchise locked horns with MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK), at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, and completed a double over the Yellow Army this season to not only add two more vital points up their sleeves but also confirm a top-two finish in the points table.</p>

However, Anrich Nortje and Axar Patel pulled things back for Delhi as Chennai never recovered from thereon. Riding on Ambati Rayudu's unbeaten 55, CSK posted a modest 136-5 in 20 overs. While Pant & Co. complicated the run-chase for themselves, they finished the proceedings in the final over with 3 wickets in hand. Assuring themselves of a top-two finish with CSK win, DC players enjoyed some time off before the playoffs begin from next week. <p>Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson toppled Shikhar Dhawan on the list of highest run-getters in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 with a brilliant knock of 82 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Monday. Samson is now leading the race for Orange Cap this season and also completed 3,000 runs in IPL en-route to his 82 off 57 deliveries. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Samson once again single-handedly led RR's fight with the bat in their clash against a struggling SRH at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on Monday. His 57-ball 82 was laced with seven fours and three sixes as the RR captain powered his side's to a fighting total of 164 runs on the board in 20 overs.</p>

<p>However, Samson's knock went in vain as SRH chased down the target with 9 balls to spare. Jason Roy provided SRH with a cracking start with a 42-ball 60 before skipper Kane Williamson scored a fine 51 off 41 balls to take SRH home in the run-chase. Nonetheless, Samson became the top run-getter in the league and got his hands on the Orange Cap.</p>

He has amassed 430 runs in ten matches so far in IPL 2021 and is likely to regain the top spot in Delhi Capitals' next game as he is only 3 runs behind Samson.</p>

<p>Delhi Capitals (DC) co-owner Parth Jindal has once again targeted the Indian selectors over some major snubs in the country's squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. Jindal took to Twitter to raise questions over the 18-man T20 World Cup squad selected by the Chetan Sharma-led selection panel.</p>

<p>BCCI had announced the T20 World Cup squad earlier this month with a number of big names failing to make the cut. The likes of Shikhar Dhawan and Yuzvendra Chahal among others failed to make the cut, raising several eyebrows. Dhawan has been in stellar touch in the ongoing IPL 2021 and is currently the second-highest run-getter so far this season with 430 runs in ten matches.</p>

<p>Chahal, on the other hand, has returned to form after struggling in the first leg of the tournament in India earlier this year. The leg spinner picked up a three-wicket haul as Royal Challengers Bangalore decimated Mumbai Indians on Sunday. Chahal has nine wickets in 10 matches so far.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The selectors also kept former DC captain and star batsman Shreyas Iyer out of the main squad and included him in the reserves for the T20 World Cup. <p>Delhi Capitals are currently at the top of the standings with 12 points from six wins out of eight games. They will resume their campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad on September 22.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The 14the edition of India's cash-rich tournament was halted midway through the season in May due to multiple cases in the IPL bio-bubble and also the increasing COVID-19 cases when it was underway in India.</p>

<p>The base was then shifted to UAE and the matches will be played following strict COIVD-19 measures as the tournament is set to resume on September 19. Qualifier 1 will take place on October 10 while the Eliminator will be held on October 11. Qualifier 2 will take place on October 13 and the final will take place on October 15.</p>

<p>When asked about getting acclimatising to the conditions in the UAE, the opening batsman said: "We'll beat the heat as well. It takes some time to get used to the humidity here since we were indoors for a while. But we've been doing this for so many years so we'll definitely beat the heat."</p>

<p>Ayesha, who hails from West Bengal but settled in Australia when she was 8, wrote on Instagram, " I THOUGHT DIVORCE WAS A DIRTY WORD UNTIL I BECAME A 2 TIME DIVORCEE.</p>

<p>"Funny how words can have such powerful meanings and associations. I experienced this first hand as a divorcee. The first time I went through a divorce I was soooooooo fu@kn scared. I felt like I had failed and I was doing something so wrong at that time.</p>

<p>"I felt as if I had let everyone down and even felt selfish. I felt that I was letting my parents down, I felt that I was letting my children down and even to some extent I felt as if I was letting God down. Divorce was such a dirty word.</p>

<p>"So now imagine, I have to go through it a second time. Woooahhhhhh. That is terrifying. Being divorced once before already, felt like I had more at stake the second time round. I had more to prove. So when my second marriage broke down it was really scary. All the feelings I felt when I went through it the first time came flooding in. Fear, failure and disappointment x 100. What does this mean for me? How does this define me and my relationship to marriage?</p>

<p>So, once I realised this I started to redefine the word and the experience of divorce according to the way I wanted to see it and experience it," Ayesha poured her heart out on the social media platform.</p>
