<p>"We are committed to the progress and development of Andhra Pradesh and the upliftment of the people of our state. We are committed to the development of our nation, aspiring for India to rise as a global leader," the statement added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The three parties held a meeting in Delhi where the alliance was formalised. Subsequently, a meeting was held in Amravati where the sharing of seats was agreed upon.</p>

<h2><strong>NDA in Andhra Pradesh: Who is getting how many seats?</strong></h2>

<p>The BJP will contest on six of state's 25 Lok Sabha seats, while the TDP will contest on 17 seats. Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena will contest two seats. For state assembly elections, the BJP will contest on 10 seats while the TDP will contest on 144 seats. The Jana Sena will contest on 21 seats in the state assembly.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The names of the seats will be announced subsequently by the respective parties. We are driven by a desire to fulfil the expectations of the people of Andhra Pradesh. We are confident that the people of Andhra Pradesh will bless the NDA alliance partners with an opportunity to serve them to the best of our capabilities," the TDP readout added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In other election-related developments, Prime Minister Modi will chair a high-powered committee on selecting election commissioners on March 14. The names of two new election commissioners will reportedly be finalised in this meeting. As per reports, the meeting originally scheduled for March 15 has been preponed by a day.</p>

<p>Popular actor Pawan Kalyan dealt with depression during his teenage years. Appearing on the popular Telugu chat show Unstoppable, Pawan spoke about depression driving him to take his own life at one point of time.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The actor made his television debut with the chat show. The chat show hosted by actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, has so far seen many Telugu celebrities appear on it.</p>

<p>On his phase of depression, Pawan said, “My struggles with depression were overwhelming, but I fought through it. I have asthma and felt isolated due to frequent hospitalisation. Therefore, I’m not much of a social person."</p>

<p>“At the age of 17, the pressure of exams only added to my depression. I remember planning to take my own life by using the licensed revolver of my eldest brother (Chiranjeevi Konidela) when he was not at home,” he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Pawan revealed he took to reading, martial arts, and practising Carnatic music which helped him emerge as a better person.<br />

<p>Bollywood actor Bobby Deol is all set to make his Telugu debut with one of the most-awaited movies of 2023, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, which stars megastar Pawan Kalyan and Nidhi Agerwal in pivotal roles.&nbsp;Helmed by visionary filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi and presented by AM Rathnam, the Pan-Indian film is expected to&nbsp;release in five languages, i.e.&nbsp;Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.</p>

<p>Making the announcement on Saturday,&nbsp;Krish Jagarlamudi shared a video that showed Boby making a&nbsp; grand entry at the sets of the film. According to reports, a massive ‘darbar’ set has been erected for the film's next schedule. Crucial scenes featuring Pawan Kalyan and Bobby Deol will be filmed on the set,&nbsp;intricately designed by Thota Tharani.</p>

<p>In the video, Bobby can be seen stepping out from a black Mercedes Benz. Dressed in&nbsp;a black vest and&nbsp;denim pants, the actor is seen greeting people while entering&nbsp;the building.</p>

<p>Sharing the video on Instagram, director Krish Jagarlamudi wrote, “Delighted and excited to welcome actor par excellence and big action stars of Indian Cinema Bobby Deol into our mighty Hari Hara Veera Mallu world. Embrace an exciting ride.”</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Bobby said, “I always wanted to work in the South industry and was waiting for an opportunity which would excite me. When I heard HHVM I got hooked. I am also looking forward to portraying the role of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and working with Superstar Pawan Kalyan. <p>The makers of 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' recently wrapped an extensive schedule spanning 40 days in Ramoji Film City. Several crucial action sequences were shot there with over 900 crew members.</p>

<p>Veteran production designer Thota Tharani is using all of his resources to recreate the Mughal era to bring filmmaker Jagarlamudi’s spectacular vision to life.</p>

<p>A special glimpse of the film was shared a few weeks ago, which helped the film create a buzz among fans.</p>

<p>With cinematography by VS Gnanashekar and music by MM Keeravaani, the Telugu-language film is produced by Dayakar Rao.</p>

<p>In a jolt to the ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh, its MLA Ravela Kishore Babu resigned from the party and assembly membership Friday.</p>

<p>He is likely to join the Jana Sena Party of actor Pawan Kalyan, according to sources close to the legislator.</p>

<p>A first time MLA, Ravela served as social welfare minister in the Chandrababu Naidu Cabinet from June 8, 2014 to April 1, 2017.</p>

<p>He was sacked for non-performance and his controversial behaviour.</p>

<p>He was elected from the Prathipadu Assembly constituency in Guntur district but reportedly never maintained cordial relations with the local party leaders.</p>

<p>He has been staying away from party affairs for some time now.</p>

<p>Babu sent his resignation letter to the Assembly Speakers office Friday evening, party sources said.</p>

<p>He also sent a note, addressed to Chandrababu Naidu, to the TDP state office at Guntur, saying he was resigning from the primary membership of the TDP with effect from November 30.</p>

<p>He, however, did not give any reason.</p>

<p>Reacting to the development, state Civil Supplies minister P Pulla Rao, who represents Guntur district, said it was a hasty decision by Babu.</p>

<p>"I tried speaking to him since yesterday but he was not available," Rao added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan on Thursday unfurled largest national flag at NTR Stadium in Hyderabad coinciding with the anniversary of India’s First War of Independence of 1857.</p>

<p>The actor-turned-politician also paid tributes to martyrs who lost their lives in the 1857 war.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The flag, measuring 183 feet in length and 122 feet in breadth, was unfurled by Jana Sena party president at an event organised by Vibrants of Kalam, an organisation spreading the ides and vision of former President Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam.</p>

<p>Kalyan pledged Jathiya Samaikyata (national unity) and paid rich tributes to all those who lost their lives in The Revolt of 1857. As a symbol of peace and independence, he also released a white dove as well as tricolor balloons.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Around 10,000 students from various educational institutions were present at the event.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It may be recalled that on June 2, 2016, the Telangana government unfurled a tricolour measuring 108 feet in length and 72 feet in breadth, on a flag post that’s around 290 feet high at Sanjeevaiah Park on the banks of Hussainsagar in the city, making it the largest tricolour to be hoisted. This was followed by a 107-feet tall Indian flag at Attari-Wagah border that was unfurled in April last year by Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju.</p>

<p>According to Philvex Hobby Society director B. Padmavathy, who coordinated the flag-making efforts, the tricolour was fastidiously stitched in Khammam by 20 women over a period of 20 days. “The material used is polyester. It is durable and was brought from Surat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The women who stitched the flag belong to economically backward sections of society. They have put in a lot of hard work to stitch the flag,” Padmavathy said.</p>

<p>So far, the society has stitched flags that flutter at Sanjeevaiah Park, IICT, English and Foreign Languages University, and National Police Academy at Shivrampally here in the city, and the Gannavaram Airport in Vijayawada.</p>

On Saturday, the filmmaker had posted a video on Youtube where he confessed that he "influenced Sri Reddy" and encouraged her to abuse Pawan Kalyan for saying that she should have gone to the police, not the media, with allegations of the casting couch. <p>Jana Sena founder and Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan today said he would visit Hanuman Temple in Kondagattu near Karimnagar tomorrow and announce his political programme.</p>

<p>Kalyan, however, said he would announce his plan of action for the next three days tomorrow, as he has not yet decided the exact mode he would adopt to reach masses.</p>

<p>&quot;I will have &#39;darshan&#39; of Lord Hanuman tomorrow and announce the programme for the next three days form there. I will announce the schedule for every three or four day. I have not decided whether I would undertake &#39;padayatra&#39; (foot march) or a roadshow or any other means to meet people,&quot; the actor told reporters here.</p>
