<p>As Kareena was spotted a couple of days back in the city with her<em> Veere Di Wedding</em> co-stars enjoying the success of their film, looks like husband Saif joined her as the 'veeres'&nbsp;took on their own personal adventures with respective partners and friends (Earlier, Sonam was spotted with husband Anand Ahuja while sister Rhea Kapoor was having a fun time with designer friend Shehla Khan).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Saif and Kareena were casually dressed as he opted for a casual shirt over denim while Kareena was seen sporting a chic hat as they enjoyed their meal.</p>

<p>The Khan family was also seen with son Taimur Ali Khan as some users posted photos of them taking a stroll in a park in the city. They will reportedly spend two weeks in the city, away from work commitments.&nbsp;</p>

'Veere Di Wedding' box office collections: Film mints Rs 56 crore in the first week of release

<p>If you have watched 'Veere Di Wedding', you must have gushed over Kareena Kapoor's bridal attire. The actress looked breathtaking in a ivory and yellow lehenga in the final scene, in which her character Kalindi gets married to beau Rishabh (Sumeet Vyas).&nbsp;<br />

Interestingly, much like in the film, the lehenga is 25 years old. In the film, Kalindi wears her mother's wedding lehenga. In reality, the outfit is from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla's vintage collection.&nbsp;<br />

The blouse remains pretty much the same. Of course, it was altered to Kareena's size.Then we created a dupatta and just modernised it slightly. The designers Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla revealed that the lehenga that Kareena Kapoor wore was more than two decades old.

If you have watched 'Veere Di Wedding', you must have gushed over Kareena Kapoor's bridal attire. The actress looked breathtaking in a ivory and yellow lehenga in the final scene, in which her character Kalindi gets married to beau Rishabh (Sumeet Vyas). Interestingly, much like in the film, the lehenga is 25 years old. In the film, Kalindi wears her mother's wedding lehenga. In reality, the outfit is from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla's vintage collection. In an Instagram story shared on social media, Sandeep explained, ''Veere's wedding garment is actually a vintage garment of Abu Sandeep. It's something that we made 25 years ago. It was lying in our coffers...Rhea came to the factory and we started digging out a whole trunk and and taking out old pieces. So then, we just reinvented it. The skirt remains the same. The blouse remains pretty much the same. Of course, it was altered to Kareena's size.Then we created a dupatta and just modernised it slightly. <p>When asked what she thought about trolls targeting her in lieu of her feminism statement, Kareena said, “What was wrong in the feminism statement? I’d still say that I believe in equality and there’s nothing wrong in it. Most people think that feminism means male bashing and it makes women superior. That’s what they’ve always meant, otherwise why would they be fighting on Twitter every time.”</p>

<p>Elaborating what she meant when she said she is not a feminist, Kareena said, “However, I would also like to add, that in a way, I am a bit of a feminist but I am a feminist in the right way. I’m not trying to say that men are lesser, because they are not. I believe it takes two to tango in any kind of a relationship. But then, main kuch bhi statement bolun, trolls toh shuru ho jate hain (whatever I say, trolling will start), especially when it comes to feminism.”</p>

<p>On if her words were misconstrued, Kareena said, “It’s fine. It doesn’t matter. The fact is, I do believe in equality. I do believe it takes a man and a woman to set an example. If you don’t have support from a man and vice versa, it would be difficult to have a family. I don’t want to get associated with any ‘isms’..I mean, why does something have to have a name or a tag?”</p>

<p>"Sets bahot acche hain. Bahot sundar film hai. Log bhi bahot sundar hai. Story bhi sundar hai. Lekin koi feel nahi hai isme. (The sets are pretty. The film is very pretty. The actors are pretty. The story is also pretty. But there is no feel in the movie)"</p>

<p>"Agar aapka dil dukh gaya ya aap ameer ho toh aap Thailand ja sakte ho, yeh ek cheez seekha hai main iss movie se. (If you are heartbroken and rich, you go to Thailand. That's one thing this movie has taught me."</p>

<p>"Acting ki jagah product placement kar diya hai (There's more product placement than acting in the movie.)"</p>

<p>In one of the promotions when Kareena declared that she is not a feminist, all hell broke loose as social media users got together to troll the “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” actress. As momentum against her statement has grown ever since, there is someone else too who threw a shade at the actress recently and it’s none other than her ‘good friend’ and co-star Sonam Kapoor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>When asked what she thought about Kareena claiming to not be a feminist, Sonam matter-of-factly said, “When women say that they are not a feminist, it is very sad and ignorant."</p>

<p>Sonam went on to explain what feminism means and said, "Feminism just means equal opportunity and equality to have the same privileges and choices as a man would have and I don't think there is anything wrong with that."</p>

Veerey Ki Wedding stars Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda in a romantic comedy film

Two movies with a similar name and a similar theme will be hitting the screens soon -- Veerey Ki Wedding and Veere Di Wedding. While the more talked about film starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and her girl gang including Sonam Kapoor will take some time, the second film starring Pulkit Samrat, Jimmy Shergill and Kriti Kharbanda is out with its trailer today on Thursday. Both the films, as its names sound is on weddings based out of Delhi. <p>The film was scheduled for release on May 18 but Ekta Kapoor confirmed that the date has been postponed to June 1.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Ekta took to Twitter to announce the shift in dates and wrote: &quot;1 June is one big day!!!! Veere di wedding arrives on my lakkshya&#39;s bday!!!! Ab shaadi aur bday pe aap sab ko nimantran hai.&quot;</p>

<p>While some may think that motherhood might have changed Kareena Kapoor Khan`s work life, the actress says that it hasn`t affected her professional life much.<br />

While giving an interview to a leading magazine, Filmfare, the 37-year-old actress, revealed that she has always been a family oriented person, so since the start of her career she has managed to balance between work and family.She said, &quot;My family is my priority. I am ambitious, but I`ve always had time for my family. For me, it`s not always like work, work, work, I think I have managed to balance between my professional life and personal life since the starting of my career.&quot;<br />

The actress was back fulfilling her professional commitments the very next month after having her son Taimur in December.<br />

The <em>Ki &amp; Ka</em>&nbsp;star also shared that she and Saif now avoid late nights because she has to get up really early in the morning for her son Taimur.&quot;My whole timing has changed and this is a big lifestyle change for me and Saif both,&quot; she added.<br />
