<p>"There was no consultation [with us]. That's something I was thinking as I came out to bat - who is Harshit on for? They said he is a concussion replacement, which I obviously disagreed with. It is not a like-for-like replacement. They said that the match referee had made the decision. We had no say in it or any part of it. But we'll ask Javagal [Srinath] some questions just to get some clarity around it."</p>
<h2>Not blaming 'this call' for the loss</h2>
<p>England had their chances in the must-win game in Pune but crumbled under pressure to concede it, losing the match and eventually the series (1-3).</p>
<p>After England reduced India to 79 for five inside the 11th over, with the top-order back in the hut, two all-rounders Dube and Hardik Pandya added 87 for the sixth wicket to pull India out of the mud, propelling them to 181 for nine in 20 overs.</p>
<p>During the chase, England was sitting in the driver&rsquo;s seat with the opening stand adding 62 for the first wicket inside the Powerplay. England, however, failed to make the most of this start, as they kept losing wickets regularly, with Rana, the concussion sub, contributing with three (to his name), including that of Jacob Bethal and Liam Livingstone.</p>
<p>Although he did not blame Rana&rsquo;s concussion move as the reason for the loss, Buttler said they would anyway take some clarity (from the match referee) over this decision.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The right-hander smashed the slow left-armer to all parts of the ground, becoming only the second batter after India’s Yuvraj Singh to hit five sixes in an over in T20Is. Notably, Yuvraj hit six sixes in an over against England’s Stuart Broad during the inaugural edition.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Buttler was on song against the tournament debutants, the USA, with Phil Salt playing a handy knock to ensure England won the match within the asked period to qualify for the semis. We paid the USA a lot of respect, but when we came here, we talked a lot about our intensity. If we could bring that on the field, we thought we'd be too good,” he continued.</p>

<p>Although the defending champions struggled throughout the tournament, with their draw against Scotland, loss to Australia (in the Group Stage) and narrow defeat to South Africa in the Super 8s, they stood up when the chips were down, proving why they deserve to play the semis.</p>

<h2>Buttler praises hat-trick taker Jordan</h2>

<p>Chris Jordan created history in Barbados, his birthplace, by picking a hat-trick and becoming the first English men’s player to do so in T20Is. He picked four wickets in total, all coming in the 19th over.&nbsp;</p>

<p>England skipper Jos Buttler was in the center of an extraordinary run out on Friday (June 21) as he produced a magical moment in the T20 World Cup contest with South Africa. Buttler, renowned for his excellent wicket-keeping duties gave a fine example of it as he dismissed Heinrich Klaasen with a neatly taken throw. <h2><strong>Buttler with a moment of magic</strong></h2>

<p>On the fourth ball of the 14th over, Mark Wood bowled an offset delivery on the leg side resulting in a wide ball. The extend of the wide was such that Buttler behind the stumps had to struggle to get to the ball which was seen as an opportunity by batter Klaasen (striker end) and David Miller (non-striker end) to run for a single. While it looked a casual single with Buttler struggling to get to the ball having lost control initially, he did not give up on chasing the ball.</p>

<p>As a result, Klaasen who thought it was a simple single was deceived with a perfect throw from Buttler at the non-striker's end. The throw resulted in a run out as Klaasen was yet to reach his crease and was left ball-watching. David Miller, running at the striker’s end was also left helpless as he realised Klaasen was run out at the other end.</p>

<h2><strong>What happened in the South African innings?</strong></h2>

<p>After an 86-run stand for the opening wicket between De Kock and Reeza Hendricks (19 off 25), the Proteas lost their way and quickly went from 86/0 to 113/4. David Miller (43) and Tristan Stubbs (12) were the only other batters to get into double figures as South Africa batters in the middle order lost their way before getting restricted to 163/6 in 20 overs.</p>

<p>Jofra Archer was the pick of the bowlers for England as he ended with figures of 40/3 in his four overs. Moeen Ali (25/1) and Adil Rashid (20/1) also played key roles in restricting South Africa.</p>
