Security forces at India-Pakistan border have been put on high alert after an intelligence input revealed that terrorists are trying to sneak into Jammu and Kashmir to carry out 'action'.

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi wrote a letter to the top UN officials, highlighting the Kashmir issue, the Foreign Office said on Saturday.

The minister addressed another "comprehensive communication" to the UN Security Council President and the UN Secretary General, apprising them of the latest situation in Kashmir through a letter of 21 May, the FO said.

In his letter, Qureshi has drawn attention towards India's new domicile rules in Jammu and Kashmir, alleging that it was in clear violation of the UN resolutions, it said.

He also conveyed Pakistan's concern over the alleged ceasefire violations at the Line of Control and the Working Boundary.

Qureshi rejected the "baseless Indian allegations? of so-called "launch pads" of "infiltrators". He underlined that the "real Indian motive" behind blaming Pakistan is to create a pretext for a "false flag" operation, about which Pakistan has been forewarning the international community.

He earlier sent a letter to the President of the United Nations Security Council and the United Nations Secretary General on March 9, 2020.

Pakistan has been unsuccessfully trying to drum up international support against India for withdrawing Jammu and Kashmir's special status on August 5 and bifurcating it into two Union territories.

India has categorically told the international community that the scrapping of the Article 370 was its internal matter. It also advised Pakistan to accept the reality and stop all anti-India propaganda.

Security forces prevented a massive car bomb attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on May 27 at night after they stopped a vehicle carrying 40-45 kg of an improvised explosive device (IED).

WION Dispatch: Pulwama like attack averted in Kashmir, NIA to take up investigation

Intelligence sources have warned of several attacks in Jammu and Kashmir by terrorists trained by Pakistan.&nbsp;

According to sources, 20 members of the Taliban are being trained by Pakistan's SSG in a location in Jalalabad, Afghanistan to plan attacks in the union territory.&nbsp;

Infiltration is being planned by these terrorist groups. Two groups of unidentified terrorists have been seen concentrated at Pakistan Post and Sardari and another two groups of Jaish-e-Mohammad and unidentified terrorists at Kel and Tejian, opposite Machhal Sector.

Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists have been concentrated at Pakistan Occupied Kashmir village Nattar and at Pakistan Army post-Badmash Complex.

This comes even as a team of security forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district foiled a Pulwama-style attack by intercepting a vehicle carrying improvised explosive device or IED to target security forces earlier on Thursday.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police has said that security agencies had inputs about the possible suicide attack by the militants and by intercepting it timely, a major tragedy has been averted.&nbsp;

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, the inspector general of police Kashmir range, Vijay Kumar, said, "Security forces stopped the suicide attacker at two checkpoints and fired warning shots but the vehicle kept moving jumped both points but he (attacker) left behind the vehicle late night yesterday at Ayegund area of Rajpora, Pulwama."

Police say the attack was planned on the 17th of the Ramzan month -- the holy Islamic day of Jang-e-Badr, but due to an alert, the plan was foiled.

Intel sources told WION that a group of unidentified terrorists has been planning for an attempt of weapon snatching at Bijhbehara in Anantnag, and are likely to carry out an attack on the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Yaripora, Kulgam and Qazigund.&nbsp;

From the chatter across the LOC, it has also emerged that attempts might be carried out to attempt an suicide attack along the stretch near Pantha Chowk, Srinagar.

The armed police forces in the Jammu and Kashmir have led several operations mostly those related to terrorism but this one is completely different.&nbsp;

On Friday evening, during a regular patrol, men from Central Reserve Police Force's (CRPF) 23 battalion noticed a drowning puppy in a river, and an operation was launched immediately.&nbsp;

<img alt="Puppy" data-entity-type="file" data-entity-uuid="8bf7c30b-5b1d-4099-95e2-8f1af237c218" src="//cdn.wionews.com/sites/default/files/inline-images/IMG_6580.jpg" />

The puppy had slipped into the Jhelum river and a team led by CRPF sub-inspector&nbsp;

Vikash Pandey and his team noticed the noise and rushed to the rescue.&nbsp;

A man was immediately sent to bring a ladder while others kept a close eye on the puppy. Several attempts to take him out failed. Desperate, the puppy was constantly changing his position to save himself and that was making the rescue hard.&nbsp;

"We were withdrawing from our duty and we noticed a puppy drowning. The puppy was making noise for help but due to lockdown, there were no people in the vicinity," says Vikash.&nbsp;

Despite the tense situation, a head constable volunteered and took off his bulletproof vest while others looked kept a tight vigil. Sliding down the ladder, a CRPF man managed to hold the puppy and take him out, saving him from drowning.&nbsp;

"Our motto is service &amp; loyalty, we come to the rescue of anyone, be it a human or an animal," CRPF sub-inspector says.&nbsp;

Pakistan's state-run media on Sunday started providing detailed weather update of Jammu and Kashmir, days after India started the coverage of weather of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

State-run Radio Pakistan on Sunday reported that in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir "partly cloudy weather is expected with chances of rain."

It reported the maximum and minimum temperatures of Srinagar, Pulwama, Jammu and Ladakh.

Radio Pakistan has special Kashmir coverage and a part of its webpage is dedicated to news from Jammu and Kashmir. The state-run Pakistan Television also gives coverage to news from Kashmir and runs special bulletin on the Valley.

The coverage is expected to increase after the Indian media started showing weather of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Pakistan on Friday rejected India's move to begin broadcasting weather reports on Mirpur, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), terming it as a "legally void" action to change the status of the region.

Pakistan Foreign Office said in a statement that like the so-called ?political maps? issued last year by India, this move is also legally void, contrary to reality, and in violation of the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.

India in November last released fresh maps showing PoK as part of the newly created Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, while Gilgit-Baltistan is in the Union Territory of Ladakh following the bifurcation.&nbsp;
