Seeing this, people on the banks began running and screaming as the tractor overturned, men on it disappeared completely underwater. As per the preliminary report, the labourers were employed in mining activities. But details on their reason for being stuck is still remain awaited, according to a report in NDTV.<h3>Around 400 people have been evacuated</h3>The incident is a result of the Dehradun cloudburst, as heavy rainfall through the night has lashed several areas of the city, causing huge damage to roads and homes in Mussoorie and Mal Devta areas, along with Dehradun. A bridge near the Law College in Prem Nagar of Dehradun has also been washed away.&nbsp;In response, rescue teams are on the ground for the evacuation, and nearly 400 people have been evacuated so far. Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman stated that damage has also been reported from Mal Devta in Dehradun and from Mussoorie.&nbsp;"Upon receiving news of the disaster, SDRF and NDRF teams reached the affected sites immediately," SDRF Commandant Arpan Yaduvanshi told The New Indian Express. "Residents of the impacted areas have been moved to safer locations. Taking to social media platform X, airlines requested passengers to check their flight status in advance in their respective travel advisories.&nbsp;Air India said on X, “Persistent rain may affect flight operations to and from Delhi today. Please check your flight status at https://airindia.com/in/en/manage/flight-status.html before leaving, and allow extra travel time to the airport.”&nbsp;Spice Jet also said, “Due to bad weather in Delhi (DEL), all departures/arrivals and their consequential flights may be affected. Passengers are requested to keep a check on their flight status via http://spicejet.com/#status.”&nbsp;In the early hours of Tuesday, IndiGo Airlines also warned its travellers of heavy traffic due to rain and directed them to check their flight schedule before leaving for the airport. “It is a rainy start in Delhi, with gentle showers expected throughout the day. Though conditions are not severe, some roads may be slower than usual. If you are flying today, we suggest checking your flight status and setting out early,” the airlines said in a post on X.

IndiGo, and Air India also issued advisories for passengers on Monday over flight operations to and from Delhi following rain. "Rain may impact flight operations to and from Delhi today. Please check your flight status before heading to the airport," wrote Air India on X.&nbsp;IndiGo advised the travellers to go for alternate routes due to the heavy rain in the national capital. "Due to today’s downpour, several roads across Delhi are currently blocked or experiencing slow movement. Please allow extra time, take an alternate route if possible, and check your flight status on our website or app before leaving for the airport," the airline wrote on X.
