Deol opened up about the infamous fight while speaking to India TV and said that whatever happened between him and Shah Rukh Khan was 'childish' and added that things were fine between them now.&nbsp;<br />

<p><strong>Why did Sunny Deol get angry on the sets of <em>Darr</em>?</strong><br />

This is not the first time Deol has opened up on the incident from <em>Darr</em> sets. In a 2016 interview, Deol said that he had quite a few arguments about the rationality of the scene in which Khan's character stabs him.<br />

"What kind of a trained and senior commando would I be if he can stab me just like that, while I watch him? He may do so when I am not looking at him, but how is this possible?"&nbsp;<br />

Deol had also confirmed reports that SRK and he were not on talking terms for 16 long years. But the actor stated that was mainly because he is not into socialising and attending industry parties.</p>

<p>Last month, actress Ameesha Patel revealed shocking details about the <em>Gadar 2</em> set as she blamed director Anil Sharma and his production house for the mismanagement. However, weeks after Patel's tweet went viral, the actress has shared a few words for the director; however, this time the scenario is totally different.</p>

<p>While interacting with the media, the<em> Gadar 2</em> star talked about her bittersweet relationship with the director, saying that they both share a father-daughter relationship.</p>

<p>As per ETimes, she said, “We fight, we block each other on WhatsApp, social media. But we are back. That’s our relationship. That’s what we share."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Her statement came a few weeks after she levelled serious allegations against the director. Taking to her Twitter handle, Patel had lashed out at the director, calling him ''unprofessional'' during the shoot. She also revealed that several bills were left unpaid and most crew members were "stranded".</p>

<p>In a series of tweets, she wrote, “There were certain queries that many technicians like makeup artists, costume designers, and others, etc., did not receive their rightful remuneration and dues from ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS!! Yes, they did not !! But @ZeeStudios_ stepped in and made sure all dues were settled as they are a v professional company!”</p>

<p>However, Anil later reacted to the claims and said that Ameesha's claims are false.&nbsp;During the interview with Indian news publication Dainik Bhaskar, he said, “I have no clue why she said all of this. All I would like to say is that this is all false, none of it is true. At the same time, I would like to thank Ameesha Patel. She made my production house famous. What can be bigger than this? I thank her for making our new production house famous.”</p>

Ameesha Patel claims Gadar 2 director didn't pay crew on time and was 'unprofessional'

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="4">An Indian student stranded in Ukraine due to Russian military actions became a good Samaritan when he assisted a Pakistani student in Kyiv in reaching the Romanian border, where she was evacuated to her motherland.</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="6">Ankit Yadav, who recently returned from the conflict-torn Ukraine, told ANI that he assisted her in getting to the Pakistani consulate, from where she was flown back to her hometown.&nbsp;</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="7">"I met her at a bunker on the evening of February 24. I was the only Indian and she was the only Pakistani in that bunker which was filled with Ukrainians. Due to the language barrier, we could not speak to anybody else. With rising tensions in Ukraine, we decided to make a plan to flee the city. We had planned to leave on February 26, but a curfew was imposed and we failed in our first attempt, "Yadav said.</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="8">Yadav, who is studying at a Kyiv institute, described his trauma after arriving at the Delhi international airport, saying they were not allowed to leave the bunker due to continuous bombardment and Russian military actions.</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="9">He claimed that procuring food was a problem because Ukrainians ate largely non-vegetarian food and supplies were running out.&nbsp;</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="10">"When I requested, they allowed me to leave the bunker on February 27 to get a nasal spray. That is when I fled to my hostel with a curfew in place, cooked food for both of us and returned," Yadav said. "With not enough food, on the night of February 27 we only consumed rice provided to us by the Ukrainians and slept," he added.</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="11">On February 28 when curfew lifted, Yadav said they managed to flee the bunker and find a store to replenish their supplies and then began planning to leave the city.</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="12">"About that time she received a call from the Pakistani Embassy. When she told them that she was still in Kyiv and did not have any other person from her country with her, the officials of the embassy requested that I accompany her to the border for safety concerns," he said.</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="13">After trudging for about 5 km to the railway station, Yadav said that they met some more students but could not board the overcrowded train because of which they missed first three trains.</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="14">"Luckily, we got the next train but there no empty seats left and we had to sit on the floor. Sometime later we heard a blast in our train and eventually, the train began to move slowly and took us to our destination," Yadav said.</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="15">The Pakistani girl, he said, then contacted her embassy, which arranged a taxi and arranged a bus with other Pakistani nationals to evacuate them to the Romania border.</p>

<p data-changed="false" data-paragraphid="16">Meanwhile, earlier in the day, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan informed that over 11,000 Indians have been evacuated from Ukraine so far.</p>

<p>Filmmaker Anil Sharma says his Partition-set drama 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', which completes 20 years on Tuesday, owes its origins to a subplot of a film on exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, which never got made. Starring Sunny Deol as Tara Singh, a Sikh who falls in love with a Pakistani Muslim girl, Sakina (Ameesha Patel), the film released on June 15, 2001 to a thunderous response.</p>

<p>What worked for the film were its crowd-pleasing dialogues, a chartbuster soundtrack by Uttam Singh and the movie's emotional hook- how Tara and Sakina's love story blooms against the unfortunate Hindu-Muslim riots during the Partition era. Sharma said the way 'Gadar'&nbsp;bulldozed all the obstacles that came its way -- from its emotionally-charged shoot to the historic box office face-off with Aamir Khan's 'Lagaan'&nbsp;-- felt unreal.</p>

<p>"Everyone makes films, but a movie like 'Gadar' can only be made with God's blessings and audience's love. The film stands tall even today and has a strong recall value. I count my blessings even today," Sharma said.</p>

<p>Sharma, who co-wrote the story with his frequent collaborator, writer Shaktiman Talwar, wanted to make a period film, something related to India-Pakistan Partition after a string of successful action films with veteran actor Dharmendra in 'Hukumat'&nbsp;(1987), 'Elaan-E-Jung'&nbsp;(1989) and 1991's 'Farishtay'.</p>

<p>Around 1997-98, the director was gearing up to make a multi-starrer film on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in early 1990s and had even worked with Talwar for close to 10 months on its script. The director had spoken to several top stars from the industry to feature in the film, all equally excited to start the shoot, when the director encountered a slight obstacle.</p>

<p>"In the film's second half, I needed a subplot about a Kashmiri boy from our side and a girl from the other side. It was a love story. Then Shaktiman ji narrated me a real story he had heard and it blew me away. I told him, 'let's pause the current film and flesh this idea out'. I felt it had to be made, without any delay."</p>

<p>The story which Talwar had narrated Sharma was that of a Sikh ex-soldier of the British Army, Boota Singh and his tragic cross-border love story. The filmmaker wanted a happy ending. "I wanted to treat it like Ramayana, how Ram goes to Lanka go get Sita back. Here, the son asks his father to get his mother back. It was an extremely strong emotional point, which is why the film worked. I knew it would become India's 'Titanic'," he said.</p>

<p>Sharma worked on the plotline of 'Gadar' with Talwar and as soon as they cracked the major emotional beats of the film, he met Deol who was shooting for a film in Ooty to narrate him the script. "Tara could only be played by Sunny. I needed someone extremely powerful, extremely innocent. There's no one in the industry apart from him to do this. I had him in mind while conceptualizing the film. I knew Sunny would be iconic in the film," he said.</p>

<p>'Gadar'&nbsp;was shot across Punjab, Rajasthan, Shimla and Uttar Pradesh. Sharma said there are so many memories from the film, that a separate movie on its making could be made. He has also toyed with the idea of penning a book, on how the team shot the lavish train sequences and enormous crowd sequences. Though the film continues to rank as one of the biggest hits of Indian cinema, there has been criticism over its jingoistic narrative and its portrayal of Pakistani Muslims as conservative and intolerant.</p>

<p>Sharma dismissed the criticism and said the film was sincere in its effort to chronicle the pain of the Partition on both sides. "There are some who will always find some criticism with anything. We didn't show them in a bad light. We showed their pain, our pain. The way things are, we showed exactly that," he said.</p>

<p>'Gadar'&nbsp;released on the same day as 'Lagaan', making it one of the biggest box office battles of the time. But Sharma recalled not being tensed. In fact, one of his fondest memories, dates back to watching the 3-6PM show of 'Gadar'&nbsp;at Mumbai's Maratha Mandir. "It was a packed house, some thousand people, standing on top of the seat and clapping. The entire hall was reverberating. It was maddening. That was the craze for 'Gaddar,'' he said.</p>
